What Is The School Site Council?
The school site council is a group of teachers, parents, classified employees, and students (at the high school level) that works with the principal to develop, review, and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets.
As part of the L.A. Compact strategy to build collaborative leadership capacity, Compact partners will work with stakeholder groups to provide training and consultation for school site councils.
They will work with schools to identify best practices, areas for improvement and accountability measures.
